The 2025 Kurda Award for Economics honoured young Kurdish scholars for outstanding research on economic policy in the Kurdistan Region.
The prize, launched by the Kurdistan Organization for Development with the Consulate of South Korea, Kurdistan Chronicle and Shingelbana Resort, aims to encourage academic engagement and innovative thinking among university students.
Winners from universities including AUIS, Salahaddin and Zakho were recognised at a ceremony in Rawanduz attended by officials and business leaders. (Kurdistan Chronicle)
