Germany marked the 11th anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, reaffirming its commitment to justice for survivors of the 2014 Islamic State campaign in northern Iraq.
The German government noted the Bundestag's 2023 recognition of the atrocities as genocide and highlighted its support for stabilisation, the search for missing people and the prosecution of perpetrators, including by the Federal Public Prosecutor General.
