Six civilians were killed in two Turkish airstrikes in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, according to Kurdish activists and lawmakers.
In the first attack, a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle in Gardjan village in Raparin, killing two women and two men; a fifth person was injured. Earlier, another drone strike on farmland near Shaheya village in Duhok province killed two civilians as they worked.
The attacks drew criticism from human rights groups over civilian casualties, with little immediate response from local or international authorities. (The New Arab)
