A Kurdish asylum seeker who returned to Syria from the UK after his case was rejected has urged the government to halt deportations to the country.
The man said he feared for his life after the fall of Bashar al-Assad, describing the country as having been "hijacked" by the new post-Assad regime.
The security situation in much of Syria remains volatile, and the case highlights the risks facing Kurdish asylum seekers who are returned.
